Forgot to take a picture yesterday but I brought Jake to work with me…..what a great kid! Always willing to listen and learn. He learned about listings homes, mortgages, finding homes for people and a bit of the agony that can go along with it! Love these times with him! Cherished forever…..
Jake’s First Home Run at Hilltop
It was a Sunday afternoon around 7pm in the evening on April 21st, 2013…..Aunt Devon was throwing, “One last pitch” to Jake at the Hilltop Field. Carolee, Gabby, Ryan, Devon, Jake and I had arrived at the field about an hour before to try and hit some balls over the fence. Jake finally did it! It was a “no doubter” right over the high left field fence. I couldn’t be more proud of my little slugger. He is having so much fun playing ball and we’re having so much fun watching! Keep it up my man…..We Love ya.
Jake’s HR in Championship Game for Spring Tune-Up Tournament

Spring Tune-Up Tournament March 23-27th. Crazy weekend with cold weather….Jake hit two HRs in 5 games. Couldn’t be more proud of my boy and his teammates!!
19 years
Funny how some songs can take us back to a certain moment that we’ll never ever forget…..I still remember when this song was on the radio in the 80′s. I was jammin’ it pretty hard in the car with my dad. He turned to me and said, “Ahh, you’ll be sick of this song in a few weeks”. Funny how to this day I still jam it every time it comes on. 19 years have gone by since I have been able to have those moments with you. You had a knack for making everyone around you feel so special and loved in their own way. Dad, tonight I raise a shot of Christian Brothers in your honor. I know everyone’s life that you touched is now better because they knew you! Love you. http://youtu.be/wlq0lYB3iSM
End of summer 2012
What a great Labor Day weekend we had. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the lake. On Saturday our friends Brian and Mikki came down. On Sunday we had the whole family down. On Monday we kicked back in front of the TV all day and then had a home cooked crab cake dinner.
Jake’s Love For Baseball
It’s just a wonderful thing how much Jake enjoys his baseball. Monday night, 6/4/12, was awesome! He pitched a solid 2 innings and then gave the ball to Josh who pitched well. Then, the drama started with danny trying to close out the game…..soooo much fun and I’m sure he’ll remember this stuff forever. He told me today that his dream is to win a championship at the District level. I will most certainly do whatever is in my power to give him every opportunity to do so….He deserves it! Love ya dude.
39th Birthday
What a great 39th birthday weekend I had. Carolee and I went to Red Bank, NJ to see a Get The Led Out concert. Jake stayed with Stacy. My weekend started off great. Carolee and Jake surprised me at the door with a b-day cake on Friday afternoon. After I took Jake to Stacy’s that evening, Carolee and I went to Parx and had an awesome time. We ran in to her friend at Chickie’s and Pete’s while we watched the Sixers make a great comeback in game 4 of their series with the Celtics. Saturday we got to Red Bank and put our boat in the water (at the best marina in town…HA!). We cut up some “bunker” and tried to catch some bluefish. Not so much. Sat night was incredible. We ate at Monticello’s (the pork chop was the winner) and then hit the concert. They even played Carolee’s favorite song. Side note for the evening, I thought it was so damn funny when the lead singer announced that we had a birthday in the house. I totally thought it was for me (thinking in the back of mind, how the hell did Carolee pull this one off) and went to get up out of my chair. Comical. Had the best pancakes in the universe at Broadway Diner and then hit the Delaware river and Penn Warner for some more fishing. Now I’m looking for some sleep…..I wish my birthday always fell on a weekend! Thanks to my family for a great weekend. Carolee, Jake, Stacy, Chris, Debbie, Tony, Mom, Kerri made it all possible. I love ya. Can’t wait until my 40th in Atlantic City…..at least that’s the plan for now!
